powerCON® FXX | Safe Power Supply
The new NAC3FXX-A and -B are compliant with all relevant versions of the 60320-1 standard. This is a mandatory requirement for use on equipment connection cables in accordance with IEC EN 60799, which applies to the event sector, among other things. Directive-compliant power cables in this area must therefore be equipped with power connectors certified to IEC EN 60320-1.

Compliant with Safety Standards
Device standards, such as IEC62368-1, IEC60799 or UL817, and safety regulations demand power (mains supply) connectors in accordance with IEC/EN/UL/CSA 60320-1. For that reason, Neutrik is now providing a powerCON blue & grey connectivity solution which is fully compliant with the various globally relevant versions of the 60320-1 standard.
Along with powerCON TRUE1 TOP the NEUTRIK brand is the only supplier of fully 60320-1 compliant indoor and outdoor power connectors covering the range of 6mm to 16mm cable O.D. and wire gauges of AWG12 to AWG16 respectively 2.5mm² to 1.5mm².

Backwards compatibility
The new NAX3FXXA-W-* and NAC3FXXB-W-* are fully mating compatible with all existing NEUTRIK blue & grey (“non NAC3MPXX* series”) receptacles already in the market. Please note, hot plugging (CBC) is only allowed with the most recent chassis versions type NAC3MPXXA and NAC3MPXXB which are also IEC EN 60320-1 compliant.
